Jake Auchincloss, a legislator representing Massachusetts' 4th district in the U.S. Congress, expressed his views on recent legislative actions and policy issues in a series of tweets dated April 10, 2025.

In one of the posts, Auchincloss addressed a bill passed by the GOP, stating "The GOP managed to vote for more debt, less access to healthcare, and continued trade chaos in just one bill today."

Emphasizing the implications of Internet laws on minors, Auchincloss tweeted about existing regulations, noting "Under current Internet law, those 13-year-olds are considered adults. They can consent to terms & conditions that turn them into a product for the highest bidder. My bill fixes that, in keeping with Jonathan Haidt's recommendations from Anxious Generation." He referenced Jonathan Haidt, who has been vocal about the impact of digital engagement on younger generations.

Lastly, Auchincloss commented on the effects of trade policies implemented under former President Donald Trump. He articulated his perspective alongside House Democratic leadership, posting "Trump's trade war is causing pain for families, businesses, and everyone counting on their 401(k).
