Christopher Carlozzi has served as Massachusetts State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) since June 2017. Before taking on this role, Carlozzi worked for nine years as the NFIB Grassroots Manager. In this position, he worked closely with small business owners across Massachusetts and the five New England states on issues like healthcare, taxation, regulations, and labor matters. Carlozzi's responsibilities included managing educational programs, advocating for membership interests, and involving NFIB members in legislative processes.
He has played a significant role in enacting legislation that benefits small businesses in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Legislatures. Carlozzi also spent three years working in the Massachusetts General Court for Assistant Minority Whip, State Representative John Lepper. After graduating, he managed two U.S. Congressional campaigns in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Carlozzi earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and resides in Brockton. He is based at NFIB's office located at 6 Beacon Street, Suite 625, Boston, MA.
