He highlighted his personal connection to the event by mentioning that Ofer Calderon's relatives are among his constituents and described Calderon as "a loving father of four" and a carpenter.
The following day, on February 5, 2025, Rep. Auchincloss voiced concerns about Elon Musk's influence over crucial financial aspects affecting American citizens. "Elon Musk now has access to & control over your Social Security checks, tax refunds, and Medicare bills," he stated.
