‘Daniels’-Directed ‘Everything Everywhere ‘ Wins Best Feature at Gothams

Everything Everywhere All At Once, directed by alumni duo Daniel Kwan ’10 and Daniel Scheinert ’09, won Best Feature at the 32nd Annual Gotham Awards.

The movie stars Michelle Yeoh as an aging immigrant and high-strung laundromat owner who discovers that thousands of versions of her exist across a multiverse. Ke Huy Quan also won for best Outstanding Supporting Performance.

In March 2022, Daniels, as they are known, joined Anna Feder, head of film exhibition and festival programs in the Visual and Media Arts department and curator of the Bright Lights Film Series, for a conversation about the movie, collaborating, their moviemaking process, and more.

Kwan also recently published two original kids’ books: 24 Minutes to Bedtime! and I’ll Get to the Bottom of This!
