Auchincloss expressed his views on fiscal policy by stating that "Cutting a $1T+ annual deficit doesn't happen by canceling vaccine clinics overseas or firing FDA scientists here at home." He emphasized that meaningful deficit reduction requires "bipartisan negotiations on taxes & entitlements."
