On February 15, 2025, Auchincloss shared a personal message celebrating Valentine's Day with his family: "Happy Valentine’s Day from Grace, Teddy, Audrey, Michelle, and me."
The following day, February 16, 2025, he addressed the political landscape in Washington: "Republicans have the trifecta in Washington. Democrats will oppose any unlawful or inflationary actions they take. But opposition to bad ideas isn't enough. In states where Democrats have a trifecta, we must demonstrate better ideas in governance..."
Later on the same day, Auchincloss criticized tax policies favoring wealthy individuals: "Giving tax cuts & handouts to the billionaire tech moguls who attended the inauguration is not cutting waste, fraud & abuse, and it's not lowering costs for Americans."
