Journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones
Journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones, Pulitzer prize-winning reporter and staff writer at The New York Times Magazine, will join us as guest speaker for the 55th annual Hanify-Howland Memorial Lecture in April.
Every year, a student committee nominates a prominent speaker to visit campus for the Hanify-Howland Memorial Lecture. Past speakers include astronaut Dr. Scott Parazynski, astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas '71.
Hannah-Jones is also the creator behind the "1619 Project: A New Origin Story,” a highly anticipated six-part limited docu-series premiering today on Hulu.
