Massachusetts ranks fifth in the U.S. for the most income taxes paid in 2022

In 2022, Massachusetts collected $29,000,910,000 in income taxes, ranking it fifth in the United States, according to the U.S. Census Bureau's Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
