Beacon Hill legislators faced a busy end to the session as they worked to add eight major bills to the agenda in the final 24 hours. State Director Christopher Carlozzi spoke about this at a virtual event held on September 12th for NFIB members. The session focused on the implications of the 2024 legislative season for Massachusetts’ small businesses and allowed participants to ask questions about the issues facing their businesses.
Carlozzi emphasized the importance of understanding the legislative changes. "It’s crucial for small businesses to stay informed about these developments," he said.
The event, free for NFIB members upon registration, aimed to provide valuable insights and connect small business owners with advocacy resources. Attendees were encouraged to share the recording with other small business owners and allies. The full session recording is available online.
For those with further questions or who wish to get involved with NFIB’s advocacy, Grassroots Manager Julianna Rauf is available for contact. Participants and other interested parties can reach her via email or phone.
