Rep. Jake Auchincloss, representing Massachusetts' 4th district in the U.S. Congress, has been active on social media addressing significant issues ranging from international drug trafficking to non-consensual deepfake videos. Through his posts, Auchincloss is highlighting pressing matters that require legislative attention and bipartisan efforts.

On December 2, 2024, Rep. Auchincloss shared concerns regarding international crime networks stating that "The Chinese Communist Party & the Mexican drug cartels are working together to traffic fentanyl into the United States." He emphasized the need for various counter-measures while cautioning against across-the-board tariffs as a last resort.

Later that day, he addressed geopolitical tensions involving hostages with a post urging immediate action: "Hamas must know that politics stops at water’s edge. The hostages must be released immediately."

On December 4, 2024, Auchincloss introduced new legislation aimed at combating digital privacy violations. He announced his introduction of the Intimate Privacy Protection Act designed to tackle the issue of non-consensual explicit deepfake videos: "I introduced the Intimate Privacy Protection Act to counter non-consensual & explicit deepfake videos." Additionally, he engaged with @myimagemychoice on Instagram Live to further discuss this topic.
