Census Bureau: More women than men in Massachusetts in 2019

Of the 6,850,553 people living in Massachusetts in 2019, 51.5 percent (3,526,346) were women and 48.5 percent (3,324,207) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Bay State News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 82,052. In the 65 and over age range, there were 628,325 females and 478,764 males.
