Town of Grafton announces Memorial Day schedule for May 25, 2026

The Town of Grafton announced on May 22 the official schedule for Memorial Day events taking place on Monday, May 25, 2026. The published timetable lists a series of ceremonies and gatherings at various locations throughout the town.

Memorial Day is observed to honor and remember those who have died in military service. The day’s events are organized to provide residents with opportunities to participate in commemorations across different sites.

According to the announcement, activities will begin at Old Fanumsville Cemetery in South Grafton at 7:30 a.m., followed by ceremonies at Fairview Cemetery and Sampson Square. Additional stops include Wenc Square, Riverside Cemetery, St. Phillips Cemetery, Old Indian Cemetery, and Grafton State Hospital throughout the morning hours.

At 10:00 a.m., there will be a water ceremony at Washington Mills on Bridge Street. The itinerary continues with visits to Pine Grove Cemetery and Quinsigamond Corner Monument before parade participants gather at North Street Playground staging area starting at 11:15 a.m.

The parade is scheduled to arrive at Grafton Common for a final ceremony beginning at approximately 11:30 a.m. No further details about speakers or additional activities were provided in the announcement.
