Three Boston University golfers are ranked in the top 10 after two rounds of the Patriot League Championship, according to an April 18 update from the team.
The tournament is taking place at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club, where competition remains close as teams prepare for Sunday’s final round.
Senior Annika Manjunath is tied for seventh place with a score of plus-9 after shooting a 77 on Saturday. Freshman Monica Wu recorded a team-best round of 76 and is tied with junior Amy Han for tenth place at plus-12. Han and freshman Sophia Zhang each shot an 80 in Saturday’s round, while junior Hibiki Adachi finished with an 84 and freshman Wendy Li carded a score of 90.
Boston University posted a team score of 313 on Saturday and enters the final day in fourth place overall at plus-48, trailing third-place Lehigh by just one stroke. Tournament host Navy leads Bucknell by twelve strokes at the top of the leaderboard.
The final round is scheduled to begin Sunday morning at 8:30.
