The Republican State Committee of Massachusetts has recently launched a campaign to combat censorship of individuals by social media companies.

The campaign has come about after Big Tech companies have banned former president Donald Trump from Twitter and other social media platforms.

Twitter and Facebook said they banned the former president for repeatedly violating their rules.

MassGOP has decided to raise awareness of this practice and said that if not abated, things could get worse. According to Patch, Republican State Committeeman Jay Fleitman said, "Big Tech has done everything from shutting down access to alternative social media sites to outright censoring factual news reports critical of their preferred presidential candidate,"

MassGOP’s anti-censorship campaign will include signs and bumper stickers. The committee is hopeful that they will be able to raise enough awareness to prevent unnecessary censorship of certain individuals.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and conspiracy theorist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. might be willing to be part of that campaign seeing that they too share the sentiments of those who've been censored. DeSantis criticized social media companies’ prevalent censorship of certain individuals calling it “political manipulation.”

The governor from Florida said that he intends to fight back against these companies and is confident that other states would join him in his cause. Kennedy was banned from Instagram for posting controversial views on vaccines and he said that that move only made things worse for those seeking the truth about vaccines.
