The small business community is facing increasing challenges with recent policy changes, including heightened energy costs due to green energy mandates, an additional $2.1 billion in UI debt, extended UI benefits, rising health premiums, and potential increases in the minimum wage. To address these issues, small business owners are encouraged to participate in a Small Business Summit on June 18th at the State House in Boston.

The event aims to provide a platform for business owners to directly communicate their concerns to elected officials. Many feel overwhelmed by the influx of activists advocating for policies perceived as detrimental to their businesses. This summit seeks to unify job creators in a collective voice to express the impact of these policy changes on their operations.

An open invitation has been extended to businesses to attend and engage with lawmakers about the challenges they face.

Please visit the Small Business Summit site for additional details.
