On February 11, 2025, Rep. Seth Moulton voiced his opposition to the potential appointment of Kash Patel as FBI Director. He stated that “Kash Patel as FBI Director would pose a threat to law and order in America.” Moulton further elaborated that Patel’s perspective on the justice system is not one of respect but rather one inclined towards undermining and weaponizing it.
The following day, February 12, 2025, Moulton addressed the allocation of grants for medical research in Massachusetts. He highlighted that “Massachusetts received nearly 6,000 grants amounting to $3.5 billion for life-saving medical research last year.” He criticized the Trump administration’s decision to reduce funding for critical areas such as cancer and Alzheimer’s research.
Later on February 12, 2025, Rep. Moulton shared his experience engaging with local organizations by stating “Great talking with MAPC and learning more about the fantastic work they’re doing!” This indicates his active involvement with regional planning councils and their initiatives.
