Seth Moulton, U.S. Congressman representing Massachusetts’ 6th district since 2015, posted several messages on his official Twitter account this week addressing topics ranging from government criticism to youth innovation and immigration enforcement.
On December 12, 2025, Moulton expressed concern over the current administration’s approach to dissent, stating, “I’m used to seeing this kind of behavior from Russia or North Korea, not from the United States. An administration this afraid of criticism isn’t protecting America. It’s betraying what America stands for. -SWM”
Later that day, he congratulated a group of young innovators: “Congratulations to Fortune Udeh, Kwezi Besiimire, Kachi Ikekpeazu, and Asher Egerton-Idehen on their incredible app! Their commitment to improving access and opportunity through their innovation is one we can all draw inspiration from.”
On December 13, 2025, Moulton questioned immigration enforcement practices by asking directly: “What immigration law were you enforcing here?”
Moulton has represented Massachusetts’s 6th District in Congress since succeeding John F. Tierney in 2015. He was born in Salem in 1978 and continues to reside there. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Harvard University (2001) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (2011).
