Representative Seth Moulton’s press office issued a series of statements on social media criticizing former President Donald Trump’s recent actions and rhetoric regarding conflict in the Middle East.

On April 6, 2026, the press office posted: “Donald Trump thinks it’s unfortunate that the American people do not want another war in the Middle East and do not want to see more service members’ lives lost as a result of his idiotic war of choice. It’s all just a game to him.”

The following day, on April 7, another statement was released: “This is not normal. This is not just ‘Trump being Trump’. This is an insane man who is unfit for office, and needs to be removed immediately.”

Later that same day, a third post called for urgent action from Congress: “The President is ranting like a madman and talking about destroying entire civilizations. We are on the brink of a dramatic escalation of this war that risks more American lives being lost. Republicans need to call Congress back into session NOW. Do. your. job. @SpeakerJohnson”

Seth Moulton currently serves in the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts’ 6th district, having taken office in 2015 after replacing John F. Tierney. He previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and resides in Salem, Massachusetts.
He was born there in 1978 and graduated from Harvard University with degrees earned in both 2001 and 2011.
