U.S. Representative Seth Moulton, who serves Massachusetts’ 6th district in Congress, recently used his social media platform to address a range of national issues including immigration policy, remembrance of September 11, and political violence.

On September 10, 2025, Moulton criticized the Trump Administration’s approach to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. In his post he stated: “The Trump Administration is dismantling DACA without saying it out loud through detentions, deportations, and silence. We see what they’re doing. And we won’t let them get away with it. #ProtectDACA”.

The following day, on September 11, 2025, Moulton marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks by honoring victims and first responders: “Never forget the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call.”

Later that same day, he addressed political violence in another post: “As a Democrat, I have no issue condemning any and all violence on the left.

I just wish Republican leaders like President Trump had the same moral clarity when it comes to condemning violence on the right.

Instead, they excuse it or even incite it further. It must stop.”

Seth Moulton has represented Massachusetts’s 6th District in Congress since replacing John F. Tierney in 2015. Before joining Congress, he served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Born in Salem in 1978 and currently residing there at age 44, Moulton is an alumnus of Harvard University and Harvard Business School.
