U.S. Representative Seth Moulton, who represents Massachusetts’ 6th district in Congress, posted a series of tweets between January 23 and January 25, 2026, addressing both lighthearted and serious topics.

On January 23, Moulton engaged in a friendly sports wager with fellow lawmaker Rep. Jason Crow, writing: “Interested in a little friendly wager for Sunday’s game, @RepJasonCrow? Loser does burpees equal to the margin of victory – while wearing the winning team’s apparel – and throws in some local beer from their home state too. #NEPats”

The tone shifted on January 24 when Moulton commented on recent events involving federal immigration agents. He stated: “Let’s be clear about something: This was an execution. Rep. Moulton voted No on the Homeland Security approps bill this week. Not a single Democratic Senator should vote Yes on that funding bill now. We cannot provide more resources to ICE or CBP. None of this is acceptable.”

The following day, he announced his upcoming appearance on national television: “Congressman Moulton will be on CNN at 9:15 to discuss the latest regarding the execution of Alex Pretti by federal immigration agents.”

Seth Moulton has served as U.S. Representative for Massachusetts’ 6th District since replacing John F. Tierney in 2015 and previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Born in Salem, Massachusetts in 1978, he continues to reside there today and holds degrees from Harvard University and Harvard Business School.
