Representative Seth Moulton, who has served Massachusetts’ 6th district in the U.S. Congress since 2015, shared several updates on January 8, 2026, through his official Twitter account.

In a post from the afternoon of January 8, Moulton expressed appreciation for a fellow lawmaker: “Serving alongside @RepStenyHoyer has been an honor. He’s stood up time and again for Americans everywhere. His dedication, steady leadership, and deep commitment to the people of Maryland have left a real mark. Thank you, Steny. -SWM” (January 8, 2026).

Later that day, Moulton announced new federal funding for his district: “Congressman Moulton secured $10.9 million in federal funding today for local projects across the Sixth District. Read more: https://t.co/RQtujNlkqX” (January 8, 2026).

He also released a statement regarding his support for healthcare legislation: “Statement from Rep. Moulton on voting Yes to extend the ACA tax credits: https://t.co/YDEUMKcQDk” (January 8, 2026).

Seth Moulton was born in Salem, Massachusetts in 1978 and continues to reside there. He graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 and later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2011. Before entering Congress by succeeding John F. Tierney in 2015, he served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
