In a post from the afternoon of January 8, Moulton expressed appreciation for a fellow lawmaker: “Serving alongside @RepStenyHoyer has been an honor. He’s stood up time and again for Americans everywhere. His dedication, steady leadership, and deep commitment to the people of Maryland have left a real mark. Thank you, Steny. -SWM” (January 8, 2026).

Seth Moulton was born in Salem, Massachusetts in 1978 and continues to reside there. He graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 and later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2011. Before entering Congress by succeeding John F. Tierney in 2015, he served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
