Rep. Seth Moulton, U.S. Congressman representing Massachusetts’ 6th district since 2015, addressed a range of issues in a series of posts on social media between January 22 and January 23, 2026.
On January 22, Moulton questioned government overreach in law enforcement actions, stating, “Who is OK with allowing the government to abuse its own power and barge down your door without proper legal notice? Answer: No one.”
Later that day, he marked the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and commented on recent changes to abortion rights: “53 years ago, Roe v. Wade recognized a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions. That right was ripped away by a Supreme Court out of step with the American people. In Massachusetts and across the country, women deserve to make their own decisions about their own”.
On January 23, ahead of an expected winter storm, Moulton advised constituents to prepare for severe weather: “With a winter storm on the way this weekend, our office wants to make sure you have the resources you need to stay warm and safe. Please call your local warming center to confirm hours of operation.”
Moulton has represented Massachusetts’ 6th district since succeeding John F. Tierney in Congress in 2015 and previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Born in Salem in 1978 and currently residing there, Moulton is an alumnus of Harvard University and Harvard Business School.
