Rep. Seth Moulton, a U.S. Congressman representing Massachusetts’ 6th district since 2015, posted a series of updates on December 18, 2025, addressing issues ranging from medical decision-making to oversight of an ICE facility.
In a post at 17:35 UTC, Moulton commented on proposed restrictions to gender-affirming care by political figures Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., stating: “Medical decisions should be left up to the individuals that are making them, their doctor, and their family. But now Trump and RFK Jr. want to take control and restrict access to gender-affirming care. It’s cruel and wrong.”
Earlier in the day at 15:48 UTC, Moulton shared a link without additional commentary: https://t.co/G9VSWEq9AY.
Later that evening at 19:35 UTC, he reported on developments following his oversight visit to the Burlington ICE facility: “Following Congressman Moulton’s oversight visit to the Burlington ICE facility, ICE has confirmed to our office that 40 beds were recently delivered. Our efforts to hold ICE accountable and improve conditions for detainees will continue in earnest.”
Seth Moulton has represented Massachusetts’s 6th District in Congress since succeeding John F. Tierney in 2015; prior to this role he served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Born in Salem, Massachusetts in 1978, Moulton is an alumnus of Harvard University with degrees from both its undergraduate college (2001) and business school (2011).
