U.S. Congressman Seth Moulton, representing Massachusetts’ 6th district, posted a series of statements on social media in February 2026 addressing federal spending priorities, transportation funding in Massachusetts, and support for transgender rights.

On February 13, 2026, Moulton criticized former President Trump’s budget allocations: “$38 billion. That’s what Trump is spending to turn warehouses into human holding facilities. Not on schools. Not on healthcare. Not on veterans. On warehousing humans. And they have the audacity to call it ‘safe and humane.'”

Later that day, he commented on state transportation subsidies and infrastructure investment: “Driving in Massachusetts is heavily subsidized, costing taxpayers billions, yet roads get little scrutiny. Our Harvard study shows Crossrail would save riders billions and support housing. It’s time to rethink how we spend on transportation.”

On February 15, 2026, Moulton reiterated his commitment to LGBTQ+ rights: “Rep. Moulton is proud to once again be an original cosponsor of the Transgender Bill of Rights, defending equal protection under the law and protecting access to essential healthcare. Everyone deserves the freedom to make their own medical decisions. Rep. Moulton stands with the”

Seth Moulton has represented Massachusetts’s 6th District in Congress since 2015 after replacing John F. Tierney and previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives (source). Born in Salem in 1978, he currently resides there (source). Moulton holds degrees from Harvard University and Harvard Business School (source).
