U.S. Representative Seth Moulton, who serves Massachusetts’ 6th district, posted a series of statements on his official social media account reflecting on recent events and issues affecting his constituents and broader communities.
On December 14, 2025, Moulton addressed an incident at Brown University: “What happened today at Brown University is devastating. My heart is with the students, families, and the Providence community.
This is not inevitable. We know what saves lives. When leaders refuse to act, that is a choice, and people pay for it.”
Later that day, he commented on acts targeting Jewish individuals during a significant holiday: “Targeting Jews, especially on a holiday that is about proudly asserting your Jewish identity, is beyond reprehensible.
We must double down on our efforts to stamp out hate and keep our Jewish communities safe and secure in America and across the globe.” (December 14, 2025).
The following day, Moulton reflected on his work throughout the year: “From the House floor to the North Shore, 2025 was one for the books. Here are some of Congressman Moulton’s highlights of the year!” (December 15, 2025).
Seth Moulton has represented Massachusetts’s 6th district in Congress since replacing John F. Tierney in 2015. He was born in Salem in 1978 and continues to reside there. Prior to his congressional service, he attended Harvard University for both undergraduate studies and business school.
