Rep. Seth Moulton, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts’ 6th district, has shared recent reflections and observations through Twitter. Since replacing John F. Tierney in 2015, Moulton has been an active voice in various matters, ranging from historical anniversaries to personal tributes.

On April 23, 2025, Moulton expressed his opinion on a tradition involving communities, stating, “A noble tradition: crowdsourcing boat names and living with the consequences.” This suggests an engagement with the community’s spirit and humor in public naming practices.

The following day, April 24, 2025, Moulton commemorated a tragic historic event. He tweeted, “Today, we mark 110 years since the first genocide of the 20th century, when over one million Armenians were brutally massacred by the Ottoman empire.” He emphasized the importance of remembering and honoring the victims and generations of Armenians.

Later that day, Moulton shared a heartfelt personal message, reflecting on the loss of a young woman in his circle. He remarked, “It’s hard to imagine the immense loss of a daughter and sister like Molly.” As a father himself, he admired Molly’s traits and the loving relationships she maintained.

Moulton, who was born in Salem, Massachusetts, continues to contribute to public service from his hometown. He is an alumnus of Harvard University, having graduated in 2001 and again in 2011 from Harvard Business School.
