Rep. Jake Auchincloss, representing Massachusetts’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, took to social media, sharing his views on key issues such as the struggles of independent pharmacists, energy policy, and business uncertainty. The tweets from early May 2025 offer insight into his advocacy and legislative priorities.

In a tweet from May 1, 2025, Rep. Auchincloss raised concerns about the challenges faced by independent pharmacists. He noted, “Independent pharmacists are not only trusted medical providers. They are small business owners who are fixtures of Main Street. They are getting clobbered right now by the health insurance corporations, which are self-dealing and price gouging. Pharmacists are fighting back.”

Addressing energy policy on May 3, 2025, Rep. Auchincloss expressed support for increased nuclear power infrastructure. He stated that “America should aim to build five Hoover Dams’ worth of nuclear power by 2030. This will lower costs for Americans. The Dept of Energy needs better answers on how it will move fast to build more of this clean, reliable, and cheap energy.”

On May 4, 2025, Auchincloss tweeted a brief message underscoring his stance on economic stability, asserting that “Uncertainty is toxic for business.”

Jake Auchincloss, a Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology graduate, has been serving in his current Congressional role since 2021, succeeding Joe Kennedy III. He previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and was born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts, where he currently resides.
