A Randolph resident has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for possessing and transporting child sexual abuse material. Kesler Xavier Saget, 44, received the sentence from U.S. District Court Judge Allison D. Burroughs and will also serve five years of supervised release after his prison term. Saget had pleaded guilty in June 2025 to charges of transporting and possessing child pornography following his arrest in August 2024.

Authorities reported that on August 7, 2024, Saget arrived at Boston Logan International Airport from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. During a border screening, agents found child sexual abuse material on his phone. Saget admitted to having such material and said he had received it through various chat groups. Investigators also found records showing he made payments for access to this material.

United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Michael J. Krol, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New England, announced the sentencing. The investigation was assisted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Assistant U.S. Attorney Brian Sullivan from the Major Crimes Unit prosecuted the case.

The prosecution was part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative launched by the Department of Justice in May 2006 aimed at combating child exploitation and abuse by coordinating efforts among federal, state, and local agencies to prosecute offenders and rescue victims.
