The Northeastern Huskies defeated the UConn Huskies 10-6 on May 12 at Elliot Ballpark in Storrs, improving their record to 32-18 and remaining unbeaten at the venue since its opening.

The game was significant as Northeastern avenged an early-season loss to UConn and continued their perfect record at Elliot Ballpark. The win also showcased a strong comeback, with Northeastern scoring eight unanswered runs over the final four innings.

Trailing by four runs after five innings, Northeastern rallied with a four-run sixth inning to tie the game. They then added two runs in both the seventh and ninth innings to secure victory. Will Fosberg led the offense with three hits, including two doubles, and drove in five runs—a career high. David McSweeney earned the win by pitching three scoreless innings of relief after entering during a bases-loaded situation in the fifth inning.

Eight pitchers contributed for Northeastern, limiting UConn to six runs on seven hits. Offensively, Matt Brinker went 3-for-4 while AJ Aschettino and Harrison Feinberg each had multi-hit games. Feinberg reached his 200th career hit during the contest, becoming just the ninth player in program history to achieve this milestone.

Northeastern will conclude its Colonial Athletic Association regular season schedule with a three-game series at Towson beginning Thursday, May 14. All games are scheduled to stream on FloCollege.
