A federal grand jury has indicted a New Bedford man for allegedly possessing a firearm and ammunition on the grounds of Charles G. Taylor Elementary School in Foxborough.
Jameel Clark-White, 32, faces one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and one count of possessing a firearm in a school zone. He is expected to appear in federal court in Boston at a later date.
According to the indictment, Clark-White allegedly had a .45 caliber Glock 41 pistol and 49 rounds of .45 caliber ammunition within 1,000 feet of the elementary school on June 12, 2025. The indictment also states that Clark-White was previously convicted of a felony.
If convicted, the charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition carries up to 15 years in prison, up to three years of supervised release, and up to $250,000 in fines. The charge related to possessing a firearm in a school zone carries up to five years in prison, up to one year of supervised release, and up to $100,000 in fines. Sentencing will be determined by a federal district court judge according to U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and relevant statutes.

Authorities emphasized that all details contained in charging documents are allegations and that Clark-White is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
