Millbury Public Schools announced on June 1 that the Nature’s Classroom fundraiser is now underway for fifth-grade families. The campaign features a class competition, with email and text automations launching at 9 a.m., and encourages participants to log in and add contacts before the messages are sent.
According to the announcement, supporters can continue adding contacts throughout the campaign. Each supporter added helps their child’s class compete for prizes, including a pizza and movie party for the homeroom with the highest participation. Any class reaching 100 percent participation will earn an extra recess. Individual students who add five contacts—either emails or texts—to their profile will receive prizes as well as “Woolie Bucks.” The school provided links for logging in to add contacts and sharing donation information.
“Let’s make Nature’s Classroom happen for our rising 6th graders!” the statement said.
