Merrimack baseball lost to Maine on May 12, with a final score of 14-4. The Warriors drew nine walks during the game but were unable to overcome Maine’s offense.

The result matters as it affects Merrimack’s momentum heading into their final series of the regular season. Jayden Hamilton led Merrimack with both a single and a double, while he and Chris Goode each drove in a run for the team.

Goode also singled, walked, and stole a base during the matchup. Samuel Sherman contributed with a pinch hit single in the sixth inning. Greg Cristino and Jack DePalma each drew two walks for Merrimack.

Louis Cespedes pitched three innings of relief for the Warriors, allowing only one hit. The team will return home for their last series of the regular season starting Thursday.

First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m., following senior day ceremonies.
