Holy Cross senior Ella Lynch-Bartek was named to the 2026 women’s rowing Academic All-Patriot League team, the conference office announced on May 21. To qualify for this recognition, student-athletes must have at least sophomore academic standing, a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher, and be either a starter or key player.
This acknowledgment highlights Lynch-Bartek’s achievements both in academics and athletics. She holds a cumulative grade point average of 3.94 as a Chemistry major while competing as a four-year member of the Holy Cross women’s rowing team.
During the recent Patriot League Championship, Lynch-Bartek was part of the varsity 4+ crew that led Holy Cross to victory in the petite finals by defeating Bucknell by more than five seconds. Over the spring season, she competed with both the varsity 4+ and second varsity 8+, including winning the varsity 4+ race at the Jesuit Invitational and helping secure a win against UConn in the second varsity 8+ third final at Eastern Sprints.
The full list of student-athletes named to this year’s Academic All-Patriot League women’s rowing team includes representatives from Boston University, Bucknell, Colgate, Georgetown, Lehigh, Loyola Maryland, MIT, Navy, and Holy Cross. Laura Fern Jones from Navy was selected as Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women’s rowing.
