Rep. Jake Auchincloss, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts’ 4th district, has been vocal on social media about key issues facing the United States and international relations. In a series of tweets, he addressed concerns regarding healthcare and foreign policy.

On November 18, 2024, Rep. Auchincloss highlighted the uncertainty surrounding U.S. healthcare. He stated, “There’s huge uncertainty about US healthcare right now.” He further criticized three drug-pricing middlemen for price-gouging at pharmacy counters and suggested measures to stop them.

The following day, November 19, 2024, he turned his attention to international affairs with a tweet regarding Ukraine’s military actions against Russia. He noted that “Ukraine destroyed a Russian ammunition depot using U.S.-made ATACMS” after President Biden lifted certain restrictions. Auchincloss urged President Biden to remove additional restrictions on strikes against Russian oil refineries.

Later that day, Auchincloss elaborated on his views concerning negotiations involving Ukraine. He emphasized the importance of Ukraine having an advantage in facts on the ground and outlined potential goals for victory: “Secure Eastern border,” “Freedom of navigation in Black Sea,” and “Accession to EU, but not NATO.”
