Auchincloss, who succeeded Joe Kennedy III in 2021 and holds degrees from Harvard University and MIT, addressed topics ranging from international relations to domestic economic policies.
On January 21, 2025, Rep. Auchincloss commented on the geopolitical situation involving Russia. He stated: “The Finns know better than anyone how to beat Russia. Trump should listen. Russia is losing, don’t give Putin a lifeline.”
Later that day, he turned his attention to economic concerns affecting American families. At 19:44 UTC, he tweeted: “The typical American family spends more than half their wallet on housing, healthcare, and child care. Tax cuts, tariffs, and reducing labor-force participation by migrants are all inflationary.

In another tweet posted at 21:39 UTC on the same day, Auchincloss highlighted an issue related to pharmaceutical pricing following the death of Cole Schmidtknecht due to asthma complications. He wrote: “One year ago, 22-year-old Cole Schmidtknecht died from a severe asthma attack that led to cardiac arrest. Cole’s asthma medication was effective but a Big 3 PBM jacked up the price to over $500 without notice and without offering an alternative. Cole couldn’t afford it.”
