Rep. Jake Auchincloss, U.S. Congressman representing Massachusetts’ 4th district since 2021, recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing the passing of a local leader and raising concerns about alleged misconduct involving a White House advisor.

On November 2, 2025, Auchincloss reflected on the loss of Setti Warren, stating: “Massachusetts has lost a bright light much too young. Setti Warren was my mayor, my friend, and an exemplar to everyone of public service. When I first ran for city council, it was his style of door-to-door dynamism that inspired me. I grieve for his wife, Tassy, and his”. The post highlights Auchincloss’s personal connection to Warren and acknowledges his influence as both a mentor and community figure.

On November 4, 2025, Auchincloss addressed issues regarding White House advisor Calley Means in two posts. In the first tweet he wrote: “While serving as a White House advisor, @calleymeans helped craft the MAHA agenda to financially benefit his company, True Medicine Inc.

@SenAdamSchiff and I are demanding answers from @SecKennedy on why the White House encouraged this grift. https://t.co/otFPia6dPz“. This message indicates collaboration with Senator Adam Schiff in seeking clarification from Secretary Kennedy about the administration’s support for what they describe as improper financial gain linked to True Medicine Inc.

A follow-up tweet posted moments later simply tagged relevant parties: @calleymeans @SenAdamSchiff @SecKennedy https://t.co/SuViQZAVRq.

Jake Auchincloss succeeded Joe Kennedy III in Congress after being elected in 2021 and has previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Born in Newton in 1988 and currently residing there, Auchincloss holds degrees from Harvard University and MIT.

Setti Warren was known locally for his commitment to public service as mayor of Newton—a city where Auchincloss himself grew up and now lives—and for inspiring future leaders through active engagement with residents.

The recent tweets also reference ongoing scrutiny over ethical standards within government policymaking processes. Allegations concerning Calley Means’ involvement with the MAHA agenda raise questions about potential conflicts of interest when private business interests intersect with public office responsibilities.
