Representative Jake Auchincloss, who serves Massachusetts’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently made several public statements on his social media platform regarding oversight of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and its interactions with Congress.
On March 6, 2026, Auchincloss addressed FDA employees directly, posting: “For FDA scientists & lawyers, email Auchincloss.Oversight@mail.house.gov https://t.co/MAp0jcEC3R”.
Later that day, he compared congressional briefings under two different presidential administrations: “Trump 1.0’s FDA commissioner briefed Congress 20 times in 2 years. Trump 2.0’s hasn’t shown up once. https://t.co/3bnhBofmz4”.
In a subsequent post the same evening, Auchincloss escalated his remarks: “Actually he broke the law and so have you. Come to Congress https://t.co/4EYRKbcLu7”.
Jake Auchincloss has served as a member of Congress since replacing Joe Kennedy III in 2021. He previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and is a lifelong resident of Newton, Massachusetts. Born in Newton in 1988, Auchincloss holds degrees from both Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
