Rep. Jake Auchincloss, who represents Massachusetts’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing public health policy, community healthcare funding, and digital engagement among young men.

On August 6, 2025, Auchincloss criticized Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s approach to vaccine policy, stating: “RFK Jr.’s termination of funding for mRNA vaccines is his latest anti-science assault on public health. The Secretary has also loaded up the vaccine advisory body with anti-vaxxers, refused to endorse vaccines during a measles outbreak, and politicized the Food & Drug”.

Later that day, he highlighted the efficiency of community health centers in the United States: “Community health centers treat one in ten Americans while spending only 1% of U.S. health dollars. 10X value is a rare bargain in our expensive health system.”

On August 9, Auchincloss discussed his participation at an event related to the National Conference of State Legislatures: “At a side-summit to the National Conference of State Legislatures, I addressed legislators from 18 states, as well as better internet advocates, on the fault line between digital dopamine and IRL effort, and how to get young men on the right side of it.”

Jake Auchincloss has served in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Joe Kennedy III. He previously held office in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and was born in Newton, Massachusetts in 1988. Auchincloss holds degrees from Harvard University and MIT.
