Rep. Jake Auchincloss, a U.S. Congressman representing Massachusetts’ 4th district since 2021, addressed issues ranging from international competition in innovation to healthcare policy and Middle East diplomacy in a series of posts on September 26, 2025.

In his first post at 01:00 UTC, Auchincloss commented on global technological development and domestic research funding: “China is building dozens of Kendall Squares while MAGA tries to cut medical research funding in half.”

Later that day at 13:00 UTC, he raised concerns about the regulation of children’s vaccines and Medicare Advantage administration: “Vaccines for children regulated by people who don’t believe in the germ theory of disease. Medicare Advantage run by someone who is bought by the health insurance corporations. This is the cost of corruption.”

In his final post at 17:21 UTC, Auchincloss discussed U.S. involvement in resolving conflict in Gaza: “Hamas does not fear another assault — it fears an alternative. America must bring together the Arab League and Israel to return the hostages, end the war, and govern Gaza without Hamas.”

Jake Auchincloss succeeded Joe Kennedy III as representative for Massachusetts’s 4th District and previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Born in Newton, Massachusetts in 1988, he holds degrees from Harvard University and MIT.
