On January 29, 2025, Rep. Auchincloss criticized an unnamed individual for wanting to halt the development of new medicines for cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. Additionally, Rep. Auchincloss recounted remarks made at a dinner in New York City concerning COVID-19. According to his tweet, it was claimed that the virus was “ethnically targeted” to affect Caucasians and Black people more severely while suggesting that Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese individuals were “most immune.” The details of this claim can be viewed here.
