Harvard women’s hockey goaltender Ainsley Tuffy has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2026 National Goaltending and Women’s Defense Development Camp hosted by USA Hockey, according to a May 5 announcement. The camp is scheduled for May 18-21 at NSA Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota.
The camp will feature on-ice training, skill development, video analysis, and team building activities for the selected group of 26 goaltenders and 12 defenders aged between 16 and 24 years old.
Tuffy recently completed her sophomore season at Harvard with notable achievements. She earned All-ECAC Honorable Mention and led the conference with a .950 save percentage, ranking third nationally. Over the course of 21 games played, she recorded a total of 739 saves, maintained a goals against average of 1.85, and achieved a record of 12 wins, seven losses, and two ties.
In addition to these accomplishments, Tuffy was named ECAC Goalie of the Week twice during the season and received Most Valuable Player honors in Harvard’s Beanpot victory. Her performance marked significant progress from her first year when she posted a .920 save percentage and a goals against average of 2.77 but did not secure any wins in her starts as Harvard managed only two victories that season.
The team’s turnaround was highlighted by a dramatic improvement in their win record during the most recent campaign.
