The Grafton Select Board announced on May 28 that it is seeking individuals to fill two open positions on the Capital Improvement Planning Committee. Appointees may serve for an indefinite term.

The Capital Improvement Planning Committee consists of seven members who are tasked with evaluating proposed capital projects and improvements. The committee considers factors such as relative need, impact, timing, and cost of expenditures, as well as the effect each project will have on the town’s financial position.

In addition to these responsibilities, the committee maintains the Capital Improvement Plan, which offers a comprehensive overview of all current, planned, and requested capital spending in Grafton.

Residents interested in serving on the committee are encouraged to apply by email at taoffice@grafton-ma.gov, through a Citizen Activity Form, or by sending a letter of interest to the Town Administrator’s Office at 30 Providence Road in Grafton.
