Four Harvard softball student-athletes earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors after a successful semester on the field and in the classroom, according to a May 26 announcement from Greenwood, Indiana. To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet participation requirements such as competing in 90 percent of games or starting in at least 66 percent of games; pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
Juniors Sophie Sun and Audrey Szollosi received CSC Academic All-District honors for the second consecutive season. Sophomore infielder Alexa Muller and senior pitcher and team captain Ryan Grace were recognized for the first time.
Sun led Harvard this year with a .392 batting average, 60 hits, 13 home runs, and 51 RBIs. She was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Northeast All-Region team for a third straight season while studying applied mathematics.
Szollosi served as one of Harvard’s team captains this season under head coach Jenny Rohn. She ranked second on the team with career highs in batting average (.369) and hits (58). Szollosi has been selected to the All-Ivy League First Team two years in a row while concentrating in economics.
Muller appeared in 44 contests during the season, batting .321 with 42 hits and ranking third on the team with 28 RBIs. The Palm Beach Gardens native was named Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 2025 and is pursuing social studies honors.
Grace leaves Harvard as a two-time captain and two-time Academic All-Ivy League honoree. In her final campaign, she posted a 4.13 earned run average across 59.1 innings pitched, with her total of 40 strikeouts ranking second on the team before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in government.
