Senior Charlotte Hodgson was named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Northeast All-Region First Team, the association announced on May 14.
Hodgson’s selection adds to a senior season marked by several honors. She was previously recognized as the Ivy League Midfielder of the Year and received an honorable mention as a USA Lacrosse All-American.
According to the announcement, Hodgson became the first player in Harvard Crimson program history to earn Ivy League Midfielder of the Year honors. She led the league in goals for the entire season while contributing across multiple roles for her team. Her season statistics included over 60 points, 32 draw controls, 22 ground balls, and 11 caused turnovers.
Hodgson scored in every game except one this year and averaged three goals per game. Notable performances included a nine-goal outing against UConn and a seven-goal game against New Hampshire. She recorded multi-goal games on eleven occasions during the season.
In addition, Hodgson registered at least one point in all fifteen games played this year. She finished first in goals per game and sixth in points per game within the Ivy League overall. In conference-only matchups, she ranked fifth for goals per game, seventh for points per game, and tenth for ground balls per game.
