A Brazilian national residing unlawfully in Brighton, Massachusetts, has been arrested and charged with illegal reentry into the United States after deportation. Fagner Storck, also known as “Tiago Santos,” 41, faces one count of unlawful reentry of a deported alien. Storck appeared in federal court in Boston on July 1, 2025. The court is considering the matter of detention following a hearing.

According to charging documents and court statements, Storck was initially removed from the U.S. in 2015. Allegedly, he reentered illegally and was deported again to Brazil in April 2021. It is further alleged that he entered the U.S. illegally for a third time thereafter.

Storck has previous convictions for domestic violence, including a 2017 conviction for assault and battery on a family or household member, strangulation/suffocation, and intimidation; and a 2020 conviction for assault and battery on a family or household member. In 2023, he was arrested on state charges of kidnapping and assaulting a pregnant woman. These incidents have led to restraining orders against him by three women.

Court records also indicate that Storck has at least four motor vehicle violations for driving with a suspended license.

The charge of unlawful reentry carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine up to $250,000. Deportation may follow any imposed sentence. Sentences are determined by a federal district court judge based on U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and relevant statutes.

The announcement was made by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Patricia H. Hyde, Field Office Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations in Boston. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica L. Soto from the Major Crimes Unit is prosecuting the case with assistance from Student Attorney Brendan J. Brosnihan.

The details in the charging documents are allegations; Storck is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt in court.
