Benji announced on May 22 that it has raised $6.25 million in a seed funding round led by Preface Ventures and Atinc, with participation from Great North Ventures, M25, and Hyde Park Venture Partners.
The company said the new capital will be used to expand its engineering and go-to-market teams in Chicago and New York as it continues building integrations across its loyalty partnership network. Benji’s platform connects brands’ loyalty programs through a single integration, supporting earning, redemption, transfer, and co-acquisition use cases.
According to Benji, its growing network includes JetBlue’s loyalty program as well as those of several other leading brands such as Cook Unity, 1800-Flowers, and Chip City. Together these programs have more than 50 million active members combined.
Founded by Nick Anastasiades, Jon Elron, and Arik Gaisler—described as serial entrepreneurs—Benji positions itself as a universal API for loyalty partnerships. The company said this approach allows brands across travel, hospitality, retail, food, and fintech sectors to launch partnerships in days instead of months.
As Benji invests in expanding its reach within the loyalty space with the new funding round completed, observers may watch for further growth of its partnership network among major consumer brands.
